Come to the Social Sessions to catch a preview of the Mediums' upcoming work, ONE WAY RED!
The Social Sessions: a community arts showcase bringing awareness to social-economic issues facing the city of Philadelphia. This mixed bill program explores topics such as homelessness, abandonment and abuse through performance art. This session navigates the definition of home, asking: What does the word home look like? Is it a physical space? A feeling? Does it rely on others? How does it differ from one person to the next? Is home necessary for human survival?
Ticket sales from the evening will benefit Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia, whose mission is to transform lives and our city by building and repairing homes in partnership with families in need, and uniting all Philadelphians around the cause of affordable housing.
